This great read reinforces the principle to plan your work, work your plan and remain consistent. The STP concept is genius. Not only does the author tell you what you should be doing, but goes into detail with a myriad of buyer/seller scenarios, sharing exactly how to do it! It's a must read for new agents and also reminds those of us who have been in the business for years to stay consistent and not to give up on marketing processes before they have a chance to work. I'm now reading it for the second time! I love people who "color outside the lines" and Dan certainly uses that concept!

Dan's story demonstrates that committed implementation of solid fundamentals can put you on top, every time. His rookie success would be unbelievable in a work of fiction, but as a factual narrative, backed up by verifiable stats, it's truly inspiring. Lots of people advocate common sense, resolute ethics and hard work; hardly anyone offers such a detailed picture of how that can all come together. This is enormously valuable for anyone working in real estate. I'd also recommend it for anyone interested in business, or anyone with plans to buy or sell a home.

The amount of knowledge in this book is staggering! From how to leverage your sphere of influence to how to make emails, open houses, signs, and craigslist work for you, the information in this book is proven to work in any time, any market, and for any one. I highly recommend that any would be agent, practicing agent, broker, or brokerage read this book and at least implement one thing from it. It will change your business.
It is not another book with magical ideas, it is a book full of real ideas, I sincerely recommend it
"Tactics and strategies - No Fluff"
A lot of books are written by realtors and "coaches" NOT operating on the front lines of the business. This is not the case with Dan. Dan lays out strategies and structures that will help any realtor at any level. I personally have been in the business over 10 years and Dan is the best business minded realtor I have literally ever come across. This book is the best investment a realtor can make in their business - hands down.
This is a great book in which the author outlines strategies that help even a newer agent grasp the possibilities and make them realities in their business. The fact that he accomplished so much in his first year is an encouragement to every agent that reads this book.

Was able to put the book down just long enough to start implementing some of the concepts. As a real estate agent with previous "traditional" business experience, this book is really resonating with me and making sense of a lot of the concepts I know would make my business more efficient. It explains them in a way that is applicable to this side of the industry by providing personal experiences of the author that any agent who has been in the business can empathize with. At the same I can see this being some of the best literature for new agents that exists because it will help make them aware of very real situations that occur and give them the tools to find success through them. Overall the book is very relatable, easy to understand, and really is the way all agents should approach their business. I really wish this existed when I was starting out.

Dan uses stories from his first year in real estate to teach the strategies that helped him quickly become a top selling agent. I found the book to be highly entertaining, but at the same time very educational. His background is unique for the industry which helps him bring a fresh perspective on how to get the best results for your clients and grow your business
"Excellent Marketing Ideas And Execution For Real Estate Agents - Excellent Book"
Daniel James Lesniak has written one of the greatest books in residential real estate sales that I have ever read...and I have read a lot of them in the last 2 years. I have come to the conclusion that when it comes to becoming an effective residential real estate salesperson, he must be a true real estate marketing Savant. When I originally purchased this book, I did not have high hopes for it because you never know how its going to turn out until you devote your time and begin reading. After starting it, I found it difficult to put down. I bought the Kindle edition and I liked it so much that I am going to now go back and purchase the hardcover edition so that I can use it more as a reference book.
Daniel takes us through his initial year in the business and shares his marketing strategy with us for each major relationship he encounters as he creates his new book of business from scratch. I say this because no one handed Daniel anything, including his employing Broker or Brokerage Office. In fact, I think he stated at one point that in retrospect...none of the leads he ever received from his office were good ones, and most if not all of them turned out to be time consuming unrewarding experiences. Instead, Daniel went out and acquired his customer relationships one by one and was able to successfully build his business one relationship at a time by providing excellent customer service and outstanding results for his clients. I found it very telling that he was able to achieve such a high level of production performance as a "Rookie" new Agent by successively building upon each new customer relationship. Of course, because he was delivering customer service at such a high level on a consistent basis, he was able to successfully build upon his foundation by providing his clients with the best customer service possible and in the process, he was able to obtain the most money possible in each of the sales transactions undertaken.
Each chapter was filled with actionable examples that the the reader can follow that will probably work well in most local real estate markets. I suspect that Daniel's high level of education was a key factor in his success. Let's face it, the barriers to entry in this industry are extremely low, and unfortunately most agents will attain the heights that the Author has reached. I think his customer's could see the value he brought to the table as a true professional and they appreciated his accomplishments both in business and academia.

I've been selling real estate for 11 years, and I must say that this book taught me a lot of what no BIC or training course has taught me. Wish I could have printed out the100 tips, but I will continue to wait on some more prints of the Companion Book. I love the letters. I'm about to create one for my buyer client and drop them off tomorrow. I would have never thought of this any time soon if I didn't read the tips. Every new agent will save themselves a lot of headaches if this was required, day one, but every agent should have no reason not to read this. I promise you will learn something valuable!
"You hear an intelligent agent who solved problems"
If you listen to the thread running through all his stories, you hear an intelligent agent who solved problems. Have a buyer but no inventory? He went the extra steps and found a seller. He parlayed buyers into sellers and sellers into buyers. Even after his client had agreed to a price, he saved them another $5000. THAT will get clients singing your praises! By advertising his successes, he got more sellers (and buyers). Very clever at finding solutions that help his clients, and ultimately, himself in the bargain. I couldn't recommend more highly to new agents and also to non-novices looking to grow. It's literally a "how to do it" book. Just follow the examples and grow!

Dan Lesniak does a fantastic job laying out in easy to understand terms the best ways to maximize your opportunities at creating and winning share in your real estate market. The insights and examples he provided give me confidence that I can apply the lessons learned in his book to my career. Definitely a must read for anyone in the real estate industry or for those contemplating the transition.
I am not in the real estate business and personally, my eyes usually glaze over when I read something about it. But the way Dan tells a story is very intriguing and interesting and held my attention all the way through. I especially was impressed with his personal, innovative approach to finding buyers for his sellers. Congratulations on a very interesting and helpful book
